Privacy Policy

This policy explains how SERVICEDASHAPP LLC collects and uses information when you use ServiceDash.
Account and service information
We store your name, email address, phone number, password hash, optional profile photo and notification push token. We also store service addresses, request descriptions and photos, job history, chat messages including photos and voice notes, ratings and reviews, support tickets and attachments, content reports and blocks. Providers supply business details, licenses, insurance and identification documents for verification. Convex hosts the database and uploaded files.
Location
We use precise coordinates for client service addresses to find nearby providers. Providers share live location while available and during active jobs for dispatch and arrival tracking. Location sharing is subject to device permission. Privacy settings control whether the client can see the provider's live location. When live sharing is off, new coordinates are used to update the ETA but are not stored as live location records. Providers can stop availability when they are not taking work.
How information is used and shared
We use this information to create accounts, match service requests, display job progress and receipts, deliver messages and notifications, verify providers, handle support and prevent abuse. Before acceptance, providers see the service category, urgency, distance and request description. Assigned providers see the service address and client details, subject to contact-sharing settings. Clients see provider business profiles, verification status and reviews. Job messages are shared with the participants. Authorized support staff can review records needed to resolve problems.
Service providers
Convex stores and processes account and service data. Resend receives email addresses and message content to deliver verification codes and notifications. The Expo push service and the device platform's notification service receive push tokens and notification content. Apple or Google mapping and geocoding services receive coordinates or address queries when you use those features. Their privacy policies also apply to their services.
Payments, advertising and tracking
Clients pay providers directly outside ServiceDash. We record service amounts and provider confirmations of payment, but do not collect card or bank details or process the payment. ServiceDash has no advertising or analytics SDKs and does not track you across other apps or websites. We do not sell your personal information.
Your choices
You can update your profile, manage notification and privacy settings, control device permissions, export your information from Profile as a client or provider, and deactivate or delete your account. Email servicedashapp@gmail.com for privacy requests or if you cannot access your account.
Retention and deletion
We retain information while your account is active to provide the service. Request deletion from Profile, then Delete account. Signing in during the 30-day grace period cancels deletion. After the grace period, the daily deletion run removes your personal data. We remove your contact details, password credentials, profile photo, saved addresses, location records, preferences and call logs. For providers, we also remove the business profile and uploaded license, insurance, business registration and identity documents. Your job photos, chat photos and voice notes, support tickets and attachments are deleted. Your chat text, job descriptions and access instructions are removed, and your identity is replaced in shared messages and reviews. Review text and provider replies you wrote are removed. Anonymous service history, star ratings and receipt records remain, including service categories, dates and amounts. Other participants keep their own messages, reviews, uploads and service details. Deleted accounts cannot sign in. Copies independently saved by other users outside ServiceDash are not affected.
Children
ServiceDash is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. You must be at least 18 to create an account. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact servicedashapp@gmail.com so we can investigate and delete it.
